Church Weddings
For a church ceremony we would normally start playing about half an hour before the service begins, play your chosen piece of music for the processional, (entrance of the bride), play your choice of music for the signing of the register and again your choice for the bride and groom’s recessional. If there is no organ present, we can play during the hymns.
Civil Ceremony
For a civil ceremony we can play before the ceremony, either in the room where the ceremony will be held, or in an alternative venue while guests are arriving. As in the case of the church ceremony we usually play for the processional, for the signing and for the recessional.
Reception
Following the ceremony, there is usually a reception where drinks are served, and photographs are taken. (For outside venues, please read FAQs.) During this time we can play whatever kind of music you prefer, but we find that clients generally request classical/light classical at this point.
Wedding Breakfast
During the meal the quartet will play whatever type of music you like, from light classical, jazz, film favourites, popular arrangements etc, a selection of which you can see on the repertoire list. If you need advice or suggestions please feel free to discuss this with us as we are very experienced in selecting music to suit the mood.
